The Wise One

The next section of the Lawrence Ave mural features a wise owl who the artists say "is a creature of the night, and in this sense connects us to the world of dreams and otherworldliness". As we keep moving left into the woods you can see the surreal magical world emerging. Love the owl! I still have several more sections from this mural to show you over the next weeks.

    Can’t wait to see the rest. This really is magical...a magical woods. What fun. We have NO murals in town so I really enjoy seeing them from the other big cities. That ow; is impressive.

    This was a huge undertaking Pat. I seem to remember you saying there were a few artists involved. The owl is beautifully painted.. the 'other worldly' creatures reminded me a little of the bar scene from one of the earlier Star Wars movies :)

    My word, this is a humongous piece of art. The owl is striking but to me says more 'nightmare" than dream. Impressive art that compels attention. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
