Outgrowing The House

This cute mural was found on the side of a garage just north of College St. It is by the artist Smoky whose work I like and there always seems to be a story to the pieces. I'm not sure what the story is here but those are awfully large feet coming out of that wee house.

  2. Kind of how I feel once I've been stuck in the house for more than a few minutes. :-)

  4. It makes me think of that old saying about teenagers, "he's eating me out of house and home".

  5. It's fabulous Pat, do you think the parents are hinting that it's time their son moved out 😀

  7. Reminds me of the old blues song:
    "I got a woman, she's so tall
Sleeps in the kitchen with her feets in the hall".

  10. Reminds me of Jeremy in the Zits cartoon! Don't know how widely published it is, but Jeremy is a teenage boy whose huge shoes seem to be always laying around for people to trip over.
    Have a great day!

  15. I could imagine the artist has a grown child that refuses to move out?

  16. A very interesting mural with a message but I don't have a clue yet but perhaps Iris has the right idea.
