Spring's First Flowers

Every spring the first flowers that I see are the tiny Winter Aconites. They are out as soon as the snow disappears and even before the Crocuses and Snowdrops. They are such a cheerful sight.

  5. Your must be a couple weeks ahead of us as here no flowers are up yet. Good to see the new growth during these trying times.

  7. In England they used to be called Choirboys, from the ruff of green leaves that surround the flower. I think ours are all finished now; I saw my first cowslips of the year today.
