It is a busy time of year for squirrels as they hunt around for bits of food to hide away until needed during the winter to come. I'm not sure if this one was burying or harvesting but it was very determined.

ReplyDeleteHe is a busy little guy. Growing up in Illinois, we always put food out for the squirrels in the winter.
ReplyDeleteI have always enjoyed seeing your photos of black squirrels as they do not exist around here. I have a family of red squirrels in my yard who are busy doing the same thing.

ReplyDeleteI often hear them while I sit out on the veranda. It is getting a little too cold for veranda sittings now, so from now on I will watch them from the kitchen window.
