This fine looking building is a Toronto Hydro substation that has just undergone an extensive refurbishment that seemed to last over a year. All of the mortar between the bricks was ground out and replaced and even the stone steps were reset. The building is well over 100 years old and looks ready for the next 100.

My mother would say "it looks Spic and Span" clean. They did a nice job.
Wife’s dad worked for Toronto Hydro, so he was probably quite familiar with this place.
Looks like they did a great job at refurbishing, looks nice.
Take care, enjoy your day!
That is a great looking building constructed when appearance was valued in public buildings. Good to know it is being maintained and still functional.
Very well done.
I like it, good how it's still being used.
A really gorgeous building!
What a great industrial building. Imagine how awful a building built now to perform a similar function would look, and there is not a chance it would still be there in 100 years, and nor would anyone care at the time it was demolished.
Yippeee for refurbishing! It looks great, RedPat.
Nice building for a Hydro substation. The classic elements make it more a kind of palace.
Amazing it's been cared well for because it doesn't look that old!
