More Bird Critics
I took this pic last summer while wandering about in St James Park which is beside St James Cathedral on King St and was at one-time a cemetery for early York (that was the original name of Toronto). The gardens are beautifully set out as a 19th century garden and I think are still maintained by the volunteers of the Toronto Garden Club. The whole time that I was in the park there were little House Sparrows sitting about on this sculpture!

Love the sense of humour in this shot!
It's cool to see Canadians sparrows are art lovers. ;-)
They've found a good place to observe what is going on around them.
I think that cherub looks a bit sassy! :) Very cute shot.

I think it's great when old gardens are maintained by garden clubs!
Those little birds know a good place when they find it...
I giggled when I saw the birds on the cherub, but tonight I am kind of light on the humor, so you will have to wait to get a funny comment from someone else.
this is such a good photo red pat and a great catch, thanks
And the poor little thing is so shy, he's having to cover himself up.
:)
A real sense of summer! It looks like an English country garden, of the kind that probably only exists in books.
Sometimes little house sparrows have no sense of decorum whatsoever! ;-)
Nice shot of an enchanting wee cherub!
A lovely place to sit and watch the birds
