Trinity College Chapel
This is the wonderful chapel at Trinity College which is part of U of Toronto. Built in 1955. the chapel was designed by renowned British architect Sir Giles Gilbert Scott who designed the Liverpool Cathedral and the famous British red telephone booths! It was one of his last works and its perpendicular-Gothic style features ceilings which are 47' to the top of the vaulting. Good friends are renewing their marriage vows here today and I am missing it but I am sure it will be wonderful!

All the best for your friends!
Hope you're having fun! :)
Nicely shot RedPat!
What a wonderful architect he must have been to have such a wide range of skills. I love the British phone booths, and was just thinking this chapel would be a wonderful place for a wedding when you mentioned your friends renewing their vows. I'm also sure it will be wonderful. It's a delightful chapel.

I like this a lot!
Wow, gorgeous shot. Lucky you to find it empty.
This is lovely, Redpat. If I had known you were posting this today, we could have coordinated. Trinity College in Hartford has a marvelous chapel.
This is a beautiful chapel. Looks to be intimate even with the high ceiling. Just love this.
Even with the lack of color it is so beautiful.
A heavenly photo of a beautiful sanctuary!
Beautiful in it's simplicity, showing the beauty of the arches, interesting story about the architect Red, who would have known!!
Well, I never. I learn something new every day- great photo Pat.
