"Not My Dog"

On the weekend I was out at the farthest west part of Queen St West, in Parkdale, (looking for more bike stands) when I noticed this cool sign of a dog's head. It turns out that it marks the location of a little local bar/restaurant called "Not My Dog" which apparently is a cozy place with local art and photography on the walls and which features live music too. I have never been there but it seems that they have a nice patio out back in the summer so I think a visit is in order next summer!

  2. I don't understand signs you can't understand - one has no idea what business they're in by their sign.

  3. That looks kinda like a mean dog so perhaps that's why the place is called "Not My Dog"?

I agree with Paul. People are funny.

But, this reminds me of a place in Eustis, Florida that I wrote about on Florida Fotos. It certainly would be worth checking out. Woof!

  5. I wonder if the name is an homage to the scene from the Pink Panther Strikes Back?

  6. A do showing only the top of its head? I can identify with that. Sounds like a neat bar.

  17. I think it's clever advertising. People see just the photo of the dog and wonder what kind of place that is so they go check it out.
