Spring

It's not as hot today as yesterday but yesterday's heat has caused spring to bust out all over Toronto. This Forsythia is cascading over the lovely stone wall that surrounds Casa Loma and as I was walking along I could see that the daffodils are all out on the hill that runs up behind this wall. I love spring!

Yes, spring has sprung, at least in the northern Hemisphere. Hurrah!

Nice shot of the wall, and I see the Daffodils in the background. If your weather continues you may catch up to the coast!

I was looking for your Signs post - didn't find it - and instead stumbled on this beautiful cascade of yellow on the lovely stonework! What a wonderful sight!

Absolutely stunning. Love the compliment of the daffodils to the forsythia.

Oh, so unfair of Toronto to have greenery. We have none. We had a mini-blizzard this afternoon, and now we have light snow. There's no telling how it will be by the time we have to leave for the Calgary airport tomorrow. But when we get to California, I'll get some spring photos!

Lovely photo, Pat. I'm glad Spring has finally sprung in your part of the world. We have the yellows of autumn to enjoy now!

The forsythia always is so cheering. And this one looks very nice next to that stone wall.

A cascading forsythia? How unusual.

Wow! Toronto is so much further ahead than Edmonton! We just got a dump of snow which took a fair bit of shovelling but the week ahead is forecasted to be in the double digits! Goodbye snow!

Wonderful Spring color.

It looks gorgeous Red, especially when you bring it in a little closer. I think this is why yellow is such an 'uplifting' colour, it's like the start of something new and fresh!

The forsythias are breaking out south of us too. What an early spring for us too.

Beautiful! We are not getting any kind of blooming yet in my next of the woods. But the grass is greener. :)

Forsythia is blooming in my yard too, which is such a shock because it never blooms this early and some years it doesn't bloom at all! (East Gwillimbury is a growing zone colder than Toronto.)
