Toronto Skyline From High Park

I have been unable to get out for any pics for 2 weeks so I am into my archives. I am not sure why I never posted this shot of the downtown skyline taken from the High Park neighbourhood which is about 4 miles west of the CN Tower. It is quite different from the usual TO skyline shot which is normally taken from the south while on a boat or at the Islands. I was on a deck on the top of a church tower of a church that has been converted to lofts and we were waiting to toast the sunset which came soon after I took this shot. It is quite a location up above this well-treed area of town!

What a great skyline you have there. Hope you have the time to toast sunsets again soon.

Terrific shot. It's been a long time since I was in High Park.

I don't really understand how Toronto is stitched together. I have only been there once, and it was on business, so I didn't have any freedom to explore it.

A very distinctive silhouette on the skyline.

No matter what angle you take your photo from you will always get the CN Tower in it.

The carpet of trees in the foreground certainly give the tower and city a new perspective.

Gorgeous skyline, but must admit, it is quite a different scene from your last few posts :-).

The CN Tower is a bit like the Eiffel Tower I expect, in that it can be seen from so many angles.
