I really can't stand the disrespect that taggers have for other people's property (the owner) and other people's artwork (the artist who created it). My comment last Monday was something like How long do you think it will be before the taggers deface it? I regret having foreseen the result, but it seems that Toronto's taggers are running wild.

Shame it's damaged, it's so cool and clever.
Imagine how the artist feels after all his hard work. I talked to a street artist recently who confirmed the street code that one does not tag street art. But he also acknowledged there are ignorant kids (in my experience mostly middle school age) who do not observe the code. Hope the wall's owner will fight the tagging. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
Daen! Sad to say e have taggers at work here in East Gwillimbury too. Somebody needs to give these kids something meaningful to do with their time.
Graffiti is probably the most common, but also the worse kind of malicious property destruction.
