I showed you some of Ai WeiWei's zodiac heads at our City Hall a while ago and the show, "According To What", at the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) has now finally opened to rave reviews from everyone. The heads will be leaving in September but the show at the AGO runs till the end of October and I plan on seeing it before it leaves. I wonder what the chances are of photos being allowed?

I hope you can take photos. I'd love to get a peek.
You never know Pat, sometimes you can gat a pleasant surprise..like I did at the Empire show, let's hope so! The heads were fabulous...heavy :)
I've been in two museums where cameras were allowed, but flash was not.
Those suckers are HUGE! :)
Sounds exciting, fingers crossed about the photos!
i hope for our sake. :)
Here comes another one hoping!
Sounds like a great exhibition, hope we see some more pics!
It'd be great if you can take photos, but I have already learned so much about this artist from your posts, so I'm already grateful.
I am soooooooooo jealous!
I'll have to see it if I'm down in the area.
I am going next week and can't wait!
Still haven't seen those zodiac heads yet. sheesh.
I had to laugh - what a great place to put the sign :)
Give it a shot, RedPat. Sometimes people brush against their shutter buttons by mistake.
Al WeiWei had a big exhibition at the Venice Biennale when I was there. It was a pile of wooden stools. I ws mixed about whether it was creative or not.
I would love to see that exhibit.
Sounds like some exciting art. Love the sign displayed with the fountains for extra drama.
have fun!
There is currently also an exhibition of him in the Groninger Museum here in the Netherlands. Though I haven't been there yet I am curious to see it, so I certainly will soon.
