I always love to see our City Hall - it is such a unique structure. It was designed by Finnish architect Viljo Revell after he won an international design competition for the project, and opened in 1965. The square if front of the hall is used for many events and right now the big attraction is still the WeiWei zodiac heads in the reflecting pool.
I am still travelling so auto-posts continue, I hope.

I was there on Monday and was surprised to see the statues still there. I thought they were to move to the AGO mid August?
Spectacular City Hall, nice that you have a changing display in front of it too.
Gorgeous sweeping buildings, I seem to recall an ice rink in front of them in the winter time?
A good spot to take the pic from too. Yes, there is an ice rink.
This is a handsome building. The two sides of the building relate nicely to one another.
There is a building in Phoenix that looks like this. It just has one tower.
Impressive. Most of the '60s developments in the UK look awful!
This is a very striking design.
