Time For A Pint

I found this sign and clock on the side of P.J. O'Brien Irish pub near yesterday's post in the St Lawrence Market neighbourhood. I hadn't seen it before so it was a pleasant surprise indeed. Those people to the left were a couple with a English Bulldog and a photographer with cases of very fancy camera equipment and they were setting up for a walk-by shot past the clock. The clock was not showing the correct time!

    I thought the clock was saying it was just about a quarter of an hour before Guinness Time.

    I don't know from Guinness - never have had occasion to try it, but love the "mural," and that clock if fantastic!

    Love this Guinness sign. Looks like something from the 1950s when the "Guinness is Good For You" campaign was in full swing.

    I don't drink Guinness or any kind of beer, but this is an eye-catching ad for sure. I really like the sign and its size, easy to read!

    Now that is a clock!

    I've heard the Guinness you get here isn't like the Irish one, and in fact in Ireland, the brew tastes better as you get closer and closer to the brewery.
