Needs Some Work
I'm still out in the same part of Bloor St W as the last few days, out towards Lansdowne, with this pic that show what was probably a quite lovely Classical Revival building before a 4th floor was added and the first floor details disappeared. The 2nd & 3rd floor details are wonderful so lets hope that whoever is taking over the ground floor does a nice job.

I guess if you can't grow sideways, you grow upward. Strange sight, though. It's a very nice building and one would hope that it would be properly cared for.

Looks like quite a few builders have worked on this building.
It definitely looks a bit 'plonked on top' right now Pat, maybe when the new bricks fade a bit?
I like it better without the top.
