A Gate In Little Italy
While walking to College St in Little Italy for brunch, I came upon this wonderful old gate in front of one of the old Victorian homes in the neighbourhood. On a hot day this overgrown front garden looked very cool and refreshing and this gate looks like it may have been guarding the space for many, many years.

Looks like a gateway to an imaginary, mysterious, world.
Nice iron work.

That really is a great scene. I love the old gate and I love the overgrown garden. It adds a bit of mystery.
Such a pretty little gate Pat.. wouldn't this have been too perfect for the September theme?
An entrance to a secret garden, very intriguing!
It is definitely lovely!
Thanks for all your comments during my blackout!
I especially like those squiggly pieces at the top.
Someone lives there?. Looks sloppy.
That is a nice romantic looking gate - not like some of the garish ones found in Little Italy.
Very pretty with the green vegetation behind it.
Great find. That little gate is a work of art.
Many a soul has strode in and out of that gate.
