The October theme for the City Daily Photo bloggers is "Movement" and I chose this art piece on Bloor St which consists of a 10ft x 6ft screen that has 9 different LED stick figures that walk across it in a random order. It is titled "People Walking 2006" and is by British artist Julian Opie. It's quite fascinating to watch and I managed to catch a reflection of people walking on the street as well as moi down in the corner.

I love this one! My favorite "movement" so far. :)
very cool and very different!
Very creative! ;-)
Did you photograph the other figures?
I love it. We have one of these on the side of the Phoenix Art Museum.
This is a good one! Perfect for the theme.
Great idea! Nice portrait of yourself.
Nifty little piece of technology.
Perfect! What a great idea. MB
Smart capture
I like the LED on the right with the camera. I wonder if she is wearing RED SHOES. :-)
movement is great slogan i love it
I like it! Especially the real people walking, reflected in the glass behind the art piece. Art imitates life! Or does life imitate art? ;^)
Wow! You’ve made a great Theme Day post. I'm glad you picked this to share with us.
Quite an unusual choice for the theme!
Brilliant (and I completely forgot about this month's theme day. sigh)
That's a great theme day shot.

Aha! A glimpse of you in your blog! Like me you don't often appear in your own blog - feels a bit strange when you do catch sight of yourself.
Funny interpretation for this theme, I like it !
And a shot of you too as a bonus
So cool! Definitely the perfect entry on the theme.
Fine choice of theme day.
This is a cool one, RedPat!

Technology, reflections, self-portrait, and movement - wonderful! Plus it is all framed and bordered in color... love this one!
