We have these also; some are like resorts. In fact, we used to leave our Golden (when we went on short trips) at the All Cats & Dogs Resort where they offered a swimming pool! :)

I have a friend who has two small dogs and she takes them to day care every day.

The Scottie logo's cute. It reminds me of two Scotties owned by a blogger friend who comments regularly at my blogs, AngryParsnip. Hers are Hamish and Watson.
Doggie day care! Well now I'm going to have to Google and see if we have any here in Perth Pat, you know.. because our cities are so alike in many ways :)

I don't know about day care for dogs but there are a lot of places doing grooming and lots of dog-walkers.

I also wonder about how people have enough disposable income these days in Toronto to afford the doggie daycare. ;-)
I've never used doggie day care but some dogs probably need it if their owners work long days.

I probably never saw either a doggy day care place or a nails salon until about fifteen years ago, and now they seem to be on every corner. Yes, our society is certainly in deep trouble.
