I admit to having a thing for plastic and bakelite jewellery so this display in a vintage shop in Kensington Market is perfect for me. Give me a great red, carved bakelite bracelet any day rather than a diamond-encrusted one!
Wow, that's amazing - your preferences in jewelry...I know lots of men who'd trade in their wives for you! Nah, just kidding! 'Tis a colorful display for sure!
There is a certain attraction for bakelite with some people. I am one, but not necessarily for bracelets. I'd attract unwanted attention wearing bakelite bracelets.
So now we know; )
