Underpass Art Part 2
The mural from yesterday's post wraps around the support and gives us this totally different image on the other side. I'm not sure what the artists intended but it brings discovery to my mind. In the distance you can see 2 of the other concrete supports which I will show you later.

So the face on the other side looks over at a face across the road. And, I see another face to the right. It does make me wonder about the sea scene on this side.
Gosh, I'm thinking I really need to drive into Toronto soon to see this!
So good!
This side is particularly beautiful, and seeing other sections in the background gives a sense of the scale of the work.
They certainly brighten up what would otherwise be quite grey and dark!
i like that one a lot!!!
Thats Brilliant
it make this place so interesting.
I agree with your theme thought. This is very nice to look at.
Awesome murals!

Well, I think I changed my mind about these...they awfully bold and in your face and I think could be very distracting to the drivers. Maybe plain ol' concrete is better.
Maybe? Oui? Perchance? Non? :)
Nice to see this kind of colorful artwork on the overpass.
Lowell, the speed limit is only 50 km/hr along here and it isn't a very busy stretch of King St so it isn't really too much of a distraction although I screeched to a stop and backed up to get out and take pics. ;-)
Oh I love this! It seems to have a sea theme going. The turtle is wonderful!
Gorgeous artwork!
These are great!
Beautiful on both sides! I'm not sure what it has to do with the face on the other side but I'm loving the sea theme
Pat this truly is one beautiful mural. The colours are so brilliant. Here's a link to Walking Woman's blog. She walks everywhere anywhere touring Toronto. I think you will find her interesting. http://icelandpenny.wordpress.com/
Well, I guess you could say it's an improvement.
Great way to brighten up a usually dull place.
You find the best stuff in the most interesting places!
This is completely different from yesterday's. Perhaps a different team worked on it. My own jury is still out . . .
This I like. The sea is rough;))
