A Grand Old Hotel

This is the Windsor Arms Hotel, a 5 star hotel located diagonally from yesterday's Victorian facades. This Neo-Gothic hotel was built in 1927 and is historically designated but was totally rebuilt in the 1990s when 25 very high end condos were built on the top of it. The hotel is a favourite of many celebrities and famous people and I must say that I had one of the best meals in my life in one of their restaurants!

Pretty swanky, RedPat. And to think I actually "know" someone who has actually eaten there. :))

well, at least they saved the hotel when they built above it!

This place looks fantastic. I think I'd enjoy staying there if it's not way out of my price range.

A very stately and lovely building and I can imagine it's beautiful inside too.

A very elegant building, having 5 stars the hotel must serve excellent quality!

The best meal I've ever had. . . hmm, I'd have to think about that one for a while.

Amazing. A pretty ordinary look to something they call 'grand'. Inside must be the grandeur, huh?

I want one of those high-end condos! And I want to eat in that restaurant. And I want a new Ferrari. Are you a friend of Santa? Would you put in a good word for me? Last Xmas all I got was a lump of dirt; he said coal was too good for me!

I've never been in there - for a meal or otherwise. I do see adverts for their Afternoon Tea, which I hear is very good.

Tudor, but not two-door. I love these romantic old places. Wish I could live upstairs!

The entry alone qualifies as Grand. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
