Fishing In The City
I took another trip along the Humber River which runs through the city hoping to see some leaves changing and wasn't disappointed. This was taken last week on a sunny windless day which was probably perfect for this guy out fly-fishing in the river. You have to realize that this is the middle of the city and he could have taken the subway and walked about 5 minutes to get to this spot!

I love the idea of river running through a city like this...
Wish they could restore the Don River.
Those fall colours look very pretty!
An ideal scene. Hard to imagine a city surrounds it.
What an amazing wildness in the middle of the city. Fantastic. And, those trees are gorgeous.
A river runs through it? Gosh, this is beautiful.
Nature welcomes and heals, William. So nice it is so much a part of your capitol town

nice opportunity to fish in the city
Beautiful, rural setting for being five minutes from the subway. You sure did find fall colors. This could be a still photo from the movie A River Runs Through It.
I was sad to hear the news about the death of Birdman. Just learned about that today. We will all miss his posts.
Oh gosh what a dream this is! It doesn't look a bit like city life!!!
wonderful place of respite!
You certainly couldn't guess that was taken in the city.
What an awesome day to be fishing on the river!
An in-town river lined with trees? What a wonderful amenity.
Gorgeous colors!
That is a amazing, I'd never guess that was in the middle of the city. Very pretty, peaceful place indeed.
Looks like a wilderness area to me. ;) One thing I really like about Toronto is that there are still many natural spots within the city limits.
