I'm back to the Mickey Mouse Club magazine and couldn't resist showing this pic of Annette Funicello who was probably the most popular of the Mousketeers as Jack from Hartford Daily Photo had mentioned. It is sad to think that Annette passed away in 2013.

It is very sad how her life ended. But back in the day it was all the rage, and a wonderful thing to be a part of.

It's hard when someone who's been a big part of our childhood passes, I think I remember her too.
I did not watch the Mouseketeers, but Lois' younger sister did. Annette Funicello was a very popular person with people in that age group.
It is sad to think she's gone. I had many a childhood dream of meeting her and all the Mouseketeers one day.
I've never heard of this show, but it was clearly popular!
I watched the Mickey Mouse club all the time.
Annette was a brave woman and fought MS until it finally took her life.
I could never look like Annette. :-)
Now I need to find out about the Mousketeers!

I was never a fan of the Micky Mouse Club, but Annette was cute in those Beach Party movies. She did have a sad end. Your photo is quite nostalgic.
When I was younger, I had a book about the MMC. I always thought she was so beautiful.
I met her once, maybe in the 1990s, in a sushi bar in Burbank, of all places. I didn't recognize her, but my friend did. Apparently he'd had a crush on her for decades. We introduced ourselves, and she was all smiles and very charming. John was smitten all over again.
It is sad. She was my favorite too!
Ah, thank you, RedPat. Many decades later, my glasses still steam up when thinking about Annette Funicello . . .
