You Never Know!
You never know what you may find when wandering down a laneway. While taking the shot I showed yesterday I spotted this quanset hut being used as a carport behind a smallish house. And then I noticed that someone had placed 2 small paintings on the telephone pole beside it. I found a few more little paintings sprinkled along the laneway as I continued my walk.

One thing leads to another!
Toronto is just full of fascinating things. The quanset hut is nice but needs a front and back for the winter time.
Are you happy about the election? I'm ecstatic! Maybe there's hope for us yet! Yea!
I confess I have never seen a carport like this one!
All it takes is some walking and a good eye!
I do like the carport-like hut but, it certainly won't protect from the cold in the winter. As for the paintings, what a great idea. Someone has made an artistic contribution to the neighborhood.
Really interesting design.
A clever idea, the next step should be painting it like the several garage doors you already showed us!
Unique and not a style I liked, but probably smart and cheap.
What a very clever idea Pat.. some people are incredibly inventive :)
Makes sense to me.
sweet Toronto!

That's a big one. Big enough for truck or two. ;))
i love those little paintings...what a cute idea!
lovely garage
The paintings are really cute but the garage? Seriously? I wouldn't want to look out of my kitchen window and see it, it's way too big!!!
Now that's an interesting and intriguing find!
unique find.
Very unusual in both respects.
It's all a question of observation, well spotted...
Perhaps the quonset hut isn't finished? Looks like two cars would fit in there. Like the idea of posting small paintings, but would worry they would just disappear.
Awfully large for that small car. Great find though and cute paintings.
Very unusual. A bit of minimalism. I kind of like it, but I see from the previous comments that I don't have a lot of company.
I don't think I'd want my neighbors to put up a quonset hut.
