These WW II posters are great slices of history from a time when countries went to war with a sense of justice. It was a more simple time of good and evil. Fine post of Signs, Signs.
You know how I feel about the soldiers of WWI and especially the ones from Canada in Belgium because it was there that I stayed that week. Do you have a PC or a Mac. I have a wonderful CD up in a box of CD’s that I would love to send you with all photos of men and scenes from WWI. A Canadian and his wife made it, and it was on my computer at work. Now the I am retired and at home, all we have are Mac’s so I cannot see it. It needs a good home and I think it would love to go to your house. My email is: genier39atgmaildotcom. I dragged out that big box last night for some reason and it is full of old cd’s. I know that one has to be in there. genie

These posters have been around for a very long time. A bit of history preserved.

They certainly do stand out. There's a veteran's home here- I wonder if they've got some of this there as well.
A wonderful collection; it makes sense to donate such things (or at least loan them) to Museums where many more people can learn from them.

I don't think I have seen a war enlistment poster that refers to 'Remember Belgium.'

I'm glad some people keep old things. I wonder what kinds of artifacts will be on display from our generation? Old iphones and tablets?
Imagine all those young men seeing those posters and rushing excitedly to enlist.. horrific really.
