Elegant Gate

The gate itself is gone but this entranceway looks so elegant especially since it is right across the road from Casa Loma. The drive leads up to a large estate which as far as I can find out is now a convent. I'd love to tour the grounds but it is not open to the public.

Happy St Patrick's Day everyone!

Neat stone pillars and a quaint little gate. I bet the grounds are lovely.

I love the stone work!

I am a big fan of stone structures of all kinds. Maybe you could write them a letter to ask if you could hold a "convent-ion" there? That would get you inside! :)

Happy Saint Patrick's Day to you also, Pat.

The fence and the building pictured are both very beautiful.
I see that the Toronto winter is still around...

Have a Happy Day!
Peace :)

Thanks for your visits while I was away. Nice to see your comments there.

Looks like it must have been quite a place. Would be interested in knowing more about the history of it.
