Quite A Roof
This pic was taken on a lovely sunny day of the original Hospital For Sick Children building on College St. It is now the site of the Canadian Blood Services and they have kept the original features in great condition. I love that roof with all the nice details, especially against the blue sky!
Really elaborate!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous roof and photo.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful !
ReplyDeleteYou really make me love Toronto!
ReplyDeleteA big blue sky is the perfect backdrop for almost everything. I do like the details of this roof line.
ReplyDeleteA great approach !!!
ReplyDeleteThey don't make 'em like this anymore, so when folks keep up the original, that's a good thing. It's a beautiful building.
ReplyDeleteIt does look to be in great condition. I love the little turreted windows under red tiles.
ReplyDeleteGood that the building's been preserved- what a roof!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Reminds me a tiny little bit of Hanseatic architecture...
ReplyDelete...and dormers
ReplyDeleteLooks like a crazy steep pitch on that roof, or is it just the perspective?
ReplyDeleteIt looks like some scary movies could be shot there.
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteGoodness me! Almost as many little windows to clean as Council House Sharon :) tres interesting arrangement of windows here Pat!
ReplyDeleteFantabulous find, Pat!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos with the blue sky in the b/g.
Have a Great Week ahead!
