Long Shadows

The shadows are so long at this time of year that it is hard to get yourself out of the pic. Our bikeshare system has recently expanded its area and the new ones seem to be well used most of the time. You can see from all the cyclists in the bike lane along the upper right in this pic that the bicycle has become a major mode of transportation in the city, at least downtown.

Bikesharing is a good idea, also here it works very well.

I've snapped my long shadow too! We have the bike share scheme running here in Belfast. It is a good idea.

There are bike share programs here as well. These remind me of them.

Fall is here! I like that shadow very much. And the bike program. I wish it would work here but you'd get killed riding around this city!

I had that exact problem this week. You ended up with a rather nice image.

Such a healthy way to travel Pat. I don't mind my shadow in the shot, it's the only time I look as if I've got long legs 😊

This is too funny, I found myself in so many photos this last week where I look long and tall!

That is a deeply affecting shot as we respond on a deep level to light and it's changes. Always such a pleasure to visit you P

Such long legs you have, Sharon.

Oops. I was thinking it was Phoenix, not Toronto. You have long legs, REDPAT. My bad.

BTW, I did tour the Mormon Temple. Very different from the usual Christian churches. No big open areas with seating to listen to sermons. It is divided into many different rooms, each with a specific purpose based on Mormon rituals.
