This black squirrel was spending a lot of time digging around in the snow looking for what must have been a tasty morsel but I never did see him find anything. He must have things buried everywhere but has no memory of what is where!

I also forget where I put things. lol
ReplyDeleteWonderful! You could have bitten her tail!
ReplyDeleteI am smiling , not at the poor black squirrel, but with him as it happens to us all! (though probably he's not smiling about then!!)
ReplyDeletePoor thing, I know how he feels. Now where did I put those tickets for tonights event??
ReplyDeleteHaha, we all sympathise!
ReplyDeleteOh I know exactly how he feels Pat 😊 that's a really cute shot!
ReplyDeleteFind your food Pat 😊
ReplyDeleteMade me smile, both the image and the comments. :-)
ReplyDeleteWell, at least a new tree results from their occasional forgetfulness!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot! The black agains the white is wonderful. At first I thought it was a cat--those squirrels are big. I don't think he lost anything, he's just digging up a morsel for dinner!
ReplyDelete...he needs a better memory than I have!
ReplyDeleteMust be frustrating.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. Hope he finds something in the end.
ReplyDeleteAwesome photo. Love that contrast.
ReplyDeleteI showed Chaka and she says she loves the squirrel.
Thanks for visiting me.
Have a Happy Weekend, Pat!
Peace :)
I know how he feels. Could have sworn I put it there..
ReplyDeleteNice shot.
ReplyDeleteClever, and lucky timing. Pity all those efforts were not rewarded.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the smile, great photo :))
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo and certainly can relate to 'finding something' ~ thanks
ReplyDeleteWishing you a Happy Week ahead ~ ^_^
I read one time that squirrels' forgotten stashes are responsible for a lot of flower and tree growth. Apparently they forget a lot of them even when the ground isn't covered with snow. This picture is a great winter contrast!
ReplyDeleteSo cute...
ReplyDeleteIt's possible dear Mr. Squirrel your cousin beat you to it!
