American Lady Butterfly

I saw my first butterfly of the spring this week and she was a beauty. I googled and identified her as an American Lady. They don't winter over up here so she had just arrived from down south and was enjoying the Scilla flowers.

You have a great shot of this beautiful butterfly. They do lead hard, dangerous lives.

Always glad when we down south can send you up north a butterfly to flutter by! :)
