This black squirrel looks a bit guilty but she is actually on what is left of a cob of corn which was put out for the squirrels. The kernels have all been eaten but she was having a good time chewing away on this inner core!

Nice job little friend!
The corn cob looks like it has been sand blasted :)
Have a Happy Weekend, Pat!
Peace ;)
It's probably the first decent food the poor thing has had since last fall! Heh, heh! Cute pic!
Good one! She thinks that's HER casa, LOL
How sweet. Never seen a black squirrel before.
Always good to see a black squirrel. We do not have them around here. Squirrels are always fun to watch.
She does have a sort of guilty look like she's just been caught.
Such a cutie!
Nice photo Pat! Black squirrels are not so common so great to se one!
I have seen albino, brown and gray squirrels, but never a black one. Looks mischievous.
She's getting every last bit of goodness out of that corn cob Pat. Super shot of this shiny squirrel!
I've never seen a black squirrel either. She is really guarding that corn cob!
He looks totally determined not to share either!
