St John's

This is St John's Anglican Church West Toronto, found in the High Park neighbourhood. I thought I had better get a pic now before the leaves come out on the trees and hide it!

Would be nice to shoot it in Summer too for the contrast, Pat. Wishing you good day, sweetie

I can tell those trees will hide it completely when they get full. I love those turquoise doors.

Good idea Pat :) Swooning over all those gorgeous arched windows!

I've often wondered why so many churches of that period have so many steps leading up to the entrance and away from the exit. Perhaps it's so everyone can get out quickly before the clergy stops them to ask for money? It's a nice building, but being Anglican it really needs red doors!

Quite an impressive church. I see the side door with what looks like a handicapped entrance, so I'm assuming the place has a lift installed.

That is a solid, traditional looking church. Have a good week ahead.

Nice to see it clearly, the trees will add that much more beauty, and I like the colors of the doors!
