I spotted this painted utility box on Bathurst St and went back for a good look. It seems that the letters don't spell out any complete words and I'm thinking it may be an exercise in showing various fonts. The artist for this one is Troyboy.

Colourful and eye-catching !
It was nice seeing. It doesn't seem to be as letter box...
Okay... there has to be a hidden message here.
Colorful!
Perhaps it is a pun - a letter box decorated with letters of the alphabet.
Have a wonderful week!
...I rarely see one of theses boxes that isn't painted anymore.
I like all of the colors!
Looks good Pat, since seeing these painted boxes on your blog I've been noticing so many around here too.. sometimes we just need a nudge to make us more observant 😀
Fontastic!
Hello, it is a colorful box. Great find. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
Stunning.
If I was driving down the street, I probably run smack dab into the middle of it trying to figure out what it was saying. Got to admit it does look better that army green or mid-town blue!
I think the jury is still out on this one. Maybe there is a hidden message in there somewhere.
It does catch your attention.
Eye catching for sure. It looks better than the plain old boring nothing on the utility box. We don't even see something like this and there are a few utility boxes around town.
The color and lettering does catch ones eye. This may be a continuation of the use of letter fonts begun as an art movement in the 1920s.
I'm with Sharon on this one. Perhaps it's encrypted.
It's so colourful, I like it!
All the best Jan
It took me a minute, but then I got your visual pun. Utility boxes really are becoming the new canvas for street art. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
I would have been so frustrated after searching for a full word...
Interesting....just the sort of thing I like.
It is colorful and appealing. Maybe asking it also to spell something meaningful is asking too much.
Oh I like that Pat
I like it!
I think you're right, and just enough letters for those in the know to understand what it means!
