Spider & Friends
There seems to be more and more Halloween decorations around this year particularly large inflatable creatures and monsters. The house where I spied this spider and fierce canines is the most decorated I've seen with several different scenes played out along the sidewalk. I watched a guy constructing the whole thing over a span of several days as he installed props, speakers, smoke machines, and lighting. I'll show you more over the next couple of days. That spider is over 4 feet tall and really wide!

Yikes! Some people have too much money and too much spare time! :) At first, I thought those dobermans were real! They are scary dogs in my opinion but our eldest daughter had one some years back ad she thought it was like a teddy bear. It wasn't!
Halloween decor like this is catching on.
Though it may look like 3 dogs, that is a three-headed dog. Hagrid, of Harry Potter fame, had one that he called Fluffy. In Greek mythology it is named Cerberus.
That is one mean looking spider, too!
Now that is a huge spider. With an infestation like that it is time to call the Orkin man. Perfect Halloween image.
That is amazing. I do wonder why people go to all this trouble, not to mention the expense.

You don't see that here. That is a big display but I guess kids will love visiting that house. Definitely has the spirit of Halloween. :)

Hallowe'en has become a much bigger deal than I remember.
I like the spider decoratuons! It seems that these inflatable creatures are everywhere now for Halloween and Christmas...whoever invented them must be filthy rich!
Those are pretty mean looking decorations. And would be really scary in the dark.
