After a rather drab beginning our trees erupted in a blaze of colours, similar to the ones in your photo. Alas, most of them are now bare.

Lovely red maple. My red maple leaves have all blown away now.
Nice fall colour... but we still have lots of green on the trees.

There is something wonderful about the crisp fall light. Those brightly colored trees are a perfect contrast to the deep blue sly.
