The Eastern Grey Squirrel come in 2 colours - grey and black which I think is the most common colour in Toronto. It is the grey ones which seem to have the big bushy tails like this one. Wrap that around yourself in your nest and you can be warm all winter!

I'm not sure why your squirrels have such bushy tails and our squirrels have rat tails! Doesn't seem fair to me! Sure is a cutie, though. Maybe our squirrels don't have enough nuts among them?
cute squirrel
Hello bushy tail!
Hello, I am sure they love having that warm bushy tail in the winter. Great photo. Thank you so much for linking up and for your sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend.
Handsome!
Have a great week-end!
This is s kind I grew up with in Illinois. They always had those big bushy tails.
More tail than squirrel, it seems!
...what a fat little critter.
Once we had only red squirrels. Now they all are grey. Really american import.
Grey squirrels are the most common here. This cute fellow seems to be ready for winter.
A happy looking gray squirrel searching for a bite of lunch.
What a cute squirrel. A big fluffy tail to keep it warm.
The bushy-tailed ones are cute. And in the Ponderosa Pine forests of Northern Arizona one can find the Abert's Squirrel, with it's strange ear tufts.
Trying to hide his hiding place from you. :-)
I saw a squirrel with no fur on it's tail. It looks just like a rat.
Gosh that really is a bushy tail Pat, you caught it at exactly the right angle ☺
Thinking he takes really good care of that tail!
We could all use a blanket like that!
