Rear View
This is a pic taken from the walking trail along the Humber River ravine showing the rear of the Old Mill. The Old Mill opened in 1914 on the site of an old grist mill and has had many additions over the years as you can see. It is now a hotel, spa and event venue specializing in weddings with its own on-site chapel and wedding garden for pictures. It is also know for the afternoon tea that has been served since its opening in 1914. These back rooms would have a lovely view of the ravine and river!

...spectacular spot.
I think I've had dinner there, a while ago!!!
I have never been there but I drove many subway trains past it.
Is this a new photo? Is it still that green and warm looking up there?
I went to a wedding there, many many MANY years ago!
Wow, that place is beautiful! I'd love to take a peek inside.
Hello, it does look beautiful. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and have a great new week ahead.
Pretty!
Interesting building.
Beautiful building!
Quite an impressive structure!
What a beauty of a building.
Good this fine looking historic building has a new life. Good photo.
Don't think I've ever seen a building so tall done in the Tudor style.
It is interesting to see a Tudor building that high. We have lots of Tudor buildings in Connecticut, but most are no higher than three to five floors.
You asked what happened to the original West Hartford Center. It is still there and thriving. It has become a regional Mecca for restaurants and niche shops, so the town leaders and developers decided that it could be extended without hurting the original center.
What a grand place in which to stay!
It sounds like it has something for everyone. An interesting looking place.
Nice to see this back view Pat.. the additions have been beautifully done ✨
Such lovely places to walk!
Beautiful old building in a lovely setting... a bit startling the steel and glass addition!
A most lovely design and setting as well!
