After The Deep Freeze
When the deep freezing temperatures that we had just over a week ago started to disappear things started to melt and huge icicles appeared in some places. These ones were found at the Veterans Centre at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and made quite a picture as one looked out from the poolhall there. Our world is very monotone at this time of year as you can see.

...and the world's weather is ever changing.
Hello, they are pretty. We are expecting more cold and wet weather this week.
Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and new week.
those icicles are amazing. They are huge! I also notice how deeply that bench is buried in the snow.
Huge icicles!
Those are big ones!
One of winter's moments of beauty.
Looks familiar. Same situation in my area.
Wow, come spring come!
They are huge! As a kid I used to try and break them by throwing snowballs at them. The games we played some times amazes me. It could of been dangerous but of course you don't think about that. Maybe that's a "boys will be boys" moment. :)
I used to love the icicles when I lived in a cold climate area.
Icicles are amazing in their beauty. I agree with Catalyst.
But nature still excel in showing beautiful things.
Looks amazing Pat.. I do believe I can see a wee touch of red trying to escape from the background right 😉
This up and down temperature is really disturbing, except for photo ops!
Oh my gosh that icicle looks lethal!
Amazing icicles! I assume they can get dangerous at that size? We've got some small ones forming. And have about as much color as you do these days.
Glad you guys are warming up...its been about 3 weeks of -30 here.
Woowww... buenos "chuzos" de hielo.
Besos.
Funny thing we have these all around our house. As a child I loved them, now they're a bit scary and bad for my house.
