Annex Houses
While trying to avoid crowded places I have been wandering along quiet streets. And before the leaves come out on the trees it is a good time for viewing houses. I love this group of typical Annex neighbourhood homes with the turrets and wonderful brick work.
That's a good idea Pat, I might have to follow your lead, this is a good time to take more architectural shots. I agree the red brickwork here is attractive especially with the dark grey trim ✨

ReplyDeleteThey sure are beauties!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful houses!
Beautiful houses. As different as what we have here.
ReplyDeleteA slightly strange mix of architectural styles but with happy enough results, they really are rather attractive - not that I'd be able to afford one!
ReplyDeleteI have found drives are great before the leaves come out. We have local home way back behind a forest. I love snooping at them!
ReplyDeleteThat is really pretty home!

I remember those beautiful homes well!
ReplyDeleteDistinctive!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful brick houses in the Romanesque style popular around the turn of the 20th Century. They are obviously loved and well maintained.
ReplyDeleteWonderful, beautiful architecture!
ReplyDeleteSpring and summer are so welcome but bare trees allow views otherwise hidden. These are really beautiful. I love the arched windows and entrances.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sight. To imagine to live in that.
ReplyDeleteI adore these styles of stately houses and mansions. Our Summit Avenue in St. Paul, Minnesota has places just like this!
