A Late Bloomer
It has been a cool spring and so our flowering season is a bit later than normal. This small Magnolia tree is always a late bloomer but this year it is really late! It is nice to see the Tulips and Daffodils lasting longer than is usual.

Always a pleasure to look at Magnolia blooms.
PS: Stay away from Trinity Bellwoods Park.
The blooms are gorgeous to see.
I bet you are happy to see the blooms everywhere. I hope they last a few more weeks for you to enjoy.
Magnolia is hugely beautiful! I've been dreaming of it for a long time in our yard.
Did you see the "face" in that bloom in the upper right corner? :-)
I am surprised your area can grow Magnolia trees. I always think of them as in the Southern U.S. Their flowers are beautiful and smell great too.
Better late than never. My flowers and plants this year very slow on the rise as well. But the bunnies and Robin's nest are active!
You are quite a bit north of us so I'm not surprised these are just popping. I has been mostly cool and wet here but over the last couple of says, snap, it's summer.
The lasting tulips and daffodils would certainly help compensate for the cool spring.
Very pretty!
Have a wonderful day!

How beautiful,Pat !
Very pretty.
I live close to whychwood and am still to find this pond. I've walked in the community once and felt uncomfortable as if I was trespassing. Would love to know exactly where the pond is located. Thannks
