I hadn't been by the old Honest Ed's site for a while so ventured down for a peek. There are several rental high-rises being built as part of the complex which results in a lot of cranes at work. I'm not quite sure how they avoid hitting each other. It would be fun to sit and watch them at work one day.
...the landmark is gone!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteThe cranes are a good sight, a sign the economy is doing well.
Enjoy your day, have a great new week!
Awesome photo!
ReplyDeleteI'd forgotten about Honest Ed!
ReplyDeleteHello, friend! I' m tying to get back to photo blogging again, and I hope that this published because I miss all of you! Very blue sky.
ReplyDeleteWow, they are pretty close together! Those operators must have to be part air traffic controllers.
ReplyDeleteI was sorry to see it go. I have some phots before demolition. Maybe it's time to post them.
ReplyDeleteI remember seeing Honest Ed's either here or someone else's blog. I imagine driving in and around that area is very aggravating now. I hope that all those crane operators are alert and paying close attention. It would be interesting to watch them working.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see your thriving city, P!
ReplyDeleteThe way our cities grow. It is sad to see some of the traditional places go.
ReplyDeleteCrane operators are a highly skilled group. They have to be with all those electrical wires, and each other.
ReplyDeleteThere's a whole lot of money tied up in those cranes.
ReplyDeleteHere you only see very young (like 3-y-o) or very old men watching such scenes. But that, they do!
ReplyDeleteThey must have lights up on top at night.
ReplyDeleteGosh that's quite a sight Pat, good thing they know what they're doing 😉
ReplyDeleteIt would be cool and interesting for us too, just bring a lunch and your camera!
