You can find small fruit markets like this one all over the city but especially along Bloor St W where you can spot one in some areas every couple of blocks. Apparently it is mango season and many of the markets specialize in certain types so there is a lot of activity going on among mango eaters. I've never tried one!

I've seen this one before.
This type of fruit market has been around for a long time. I am glad they are still here.
Really wonderful house with market and all these signs.
This makes me think of Europe where small fruit and vegetable stores are all over cities. My friend Julie loves mangos and buys them a lot.
I loved all the little fruit markets we found in Barcelona. You are so lucky to have them to have access to wonderful fresh fruit and vegetables. Great photo with that Queen Ann building and the murals.
...as a boy and that was a long time ago we have a few of these, but not today!
A very "fruity" colour scheme too. It'd tempt me in.
I remember seeing places like this growing up. Now, it's all big chains that dominate the food industry.
You'll have to give one a try.
I am mango eater too... sweet fruit.
great shot
Me encanta el mango Pat, tiene un sabor especial, parecido a las nectarinas pero mas rico.
Buena noche.Cuídate.
