The Monarch Tavern has been open on the corner of Clinton and Henderson in Little Italy since 1927. It is one of the oldest licensed places in the city with a friendly pub on the upper floor and a cocktail lounge on the main floor. Hopefully it will be open for business again soon!

It is distinctive.
Nice to see how it was built at the corner.
Looks very inviting to me.
...businesses like this one have had a tough time. This sure is a neat corner building, thanks for joining the party.

Thank you for sharing. If I ever get back to Toronto again I am going to have lunch there.
I bet there are lots of people just waiting for this place to open again.
Oh I do hope it survives Pat, it's been there so long it would too awful if it doesn't survive Covid 🌺
All it needs is people to become vibrant once again. Hope it makes it back!
