This squirrel wanted to be where I was sitting and it kept going up and down the tree peeking around to see if I was still there. I eventually left and let him have the bench!

I suppose someone had dropped some crumbs under the bench. I love the way they poke their heads around a trunk and seem convinced that this makes them invisible.
