When walking about at James Gardens on a cool but sunny day I stopped to check out the ducks. They had all been sitting around or sleeping in the sun when someone got too close to them and everyone was up on their feet not sure if it was safe to keep relaxing. I'll show you the result tomorrow.

Quite a flock!
WOW! You should print that photo out! It's amazing with the snowy background. I love it!
Looks like a duck convention. :)
Great critter photo!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Looks like a Bruegel painting, but with ducks instead of people.
An intruder has put the flock on the move to walk away. That intruder must be you.
Hello,
I love seeing the big flocks of ducks, are they looking for food.
Beautiful scene and photo. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, enjoy your weekend.
That's a lot of ducks in one spot. I bet what happens next causes quite a stir.
There are many of them! Ducks are fun ;-)
Están bien sobre la nieve. Una gran reunión de patos.
Buen fin de semana Pat.
Un abrazo.
Wow! Must have been a duck convention.
Oh my too many to count! I'm excited to see what your next capture of them is.
Cool photo and fascinating story I can't wait to see what happened, Pat
a ducky day indeed. a beautiful image with the snow and bridge...and of course the ducks!!
the mallards around here don't mind too much!!
My goodness, that's a lot of ducks!
I can imagine what happened next. There always someone who tries to get too close. After all, they are wild creatures who can't resist a free meal.
As they should be, always on-guard, first for safety and then food. :)
That's a lot of cold duck!!
