I haven't been to the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) since the pandemic arrived but when I do go I always make a point of visiting the Henry Moore Sculpture centre there. The AGO has an internationally known extensive collection of Moore works, most gifts from the artist. The collection contains over 900 works including many of the original plaster sculptures that would be later cast in bronze. This plaster cast, Three Piece Reclining Figure No 2: Bridge Prop, has been cast several times and the bronzes are located around the world. The centre is a wonderful place and I must get down there soon for a fix of art.

It's been years since I have been there. I must rectify that.
900 works!! That is quite a lot of sculptures. The museum is blessed to have them.
A very interesting artist. Yes, thank you, William
They are cool sculptures! Time for a museum visit.
Take care, enjoy your weekend!
These sculptures would have been a visual feast!
Nice sculpture, thanks for sharing.
What fun to be able to see Henry Moore's sculptures in various stages. One of his Reclining figures was on the cover of one of my textbook.
Beautiful.

Un abrazo.
