There is a creek that runs through the park that I showed you yesterday and there were bunches of these Damselflies flying along the creek. It is an Ebony Jewelwing Damselfly. Beautiful isn't it?

That is pretty.
Super photo of a delicately pretty insect. It's very like the Beautiful Demoiselle which frequents similar territory on this side of the ocean.
It is beautiful. It does look like a jewel.
That is indeed a terrific photo of this difficult to photograph Damselfly. They seldom sit still for their portraits.
Yes, absolutely beautiful!
Great photo!
Very elegant!

Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend.
Very pretty. I am too incompetent or unlucky or both to get pics like this.
It sure is a beauty! Great capture Pat.
I've seen these. They are lovely!
How beautiful! Makes me think of fly fishing and the flies I used to catch fish. This is a beauty...and for real!
Yes, it is.

BellĂsima Pat. Gracias por compartirla.
Un abrazo.
Absolutely a beauty and what a wonderful capture too!
Lovely. I see damselflies often here in SW Connecticut but not as many dragonflies.
