A Visitor

This bee is one of many who have been visiting the roof deck attracted by flowers and a bit  of water during these hot days. More about the bee tomorrow.

Oddly, just this morning, I discovered that my BIL is landing on raising a colony. He has the ‘hive’ (?) constructed.

Great capture of the bee.

I am glad you provide some flowers and water for these visitors. They need all the help they can get. Bees are important to us humans, and they are in serious decline.

Hello :)
I am so glad to be blogging again. have missed seeing all the great captures and this is one of them. Bees and wasps need water to survive. Yesterday I saw a wasp floating in the middle of the bird bath. I though it had drowned, then to my surprise it flew away. It was just thirsty| :)
Have a good week
All the best
Sonjia.
