Marchers

These people dressed in traditional Japanese garb were gathering in the park beside yesterday's cheesecake float. I assume they were going to be marching along by the float when the parade began. They look a bit chilled and it was 2 hours until the parade began.

I hope they enjoyed participating in the parade. You got a fine street photo that tells a story.

I hope they had some warm clothes on under those robes.

It takes a certain kind of fortitude to march in a cold, Christmas parade.

They make a striking sight, even at rest, patiently enduring the cold and the long wait, their traditional dress lending quiet dignity to the moment before the parade’s movement and colour begin

Good to see these people gathering with their friends in advance of the parade.

They look warmly dressed at least. They need some chairs to sit and wait.
