Lovely Evening

This is a late evening shot of a house that I have always liked, in the Casa Loma area. There is something appealing to me about that curved line of the roof over the porch and over the eyebrow window and together with the lovely windows, it just seems to work so well!

  10. Isn't this an architectural style called storybook? It was popular in the 1920s and 30s. Fine looking house.

Since I won't be in Toronto anytime soon I am hoping you will be out photographing the stretch of Queen St. West that has been named by Vogue as the second hippest district in the world. Please.

  16. It is a cute little place. It looks like they tried to simulate thatch with shingles.

  17. if you enjoy eye brow awnings, you would like Honolulu's older bungalow homes. I should really collect photos of the remaining neighborhood gems.
Attic vents are a common feature.
